I love a cold drink nothing quenches my thirst like having a drink that is cold, not cool or room temperature. Ice cube trays have come a long way really thinking about ice in general has come a long way.
Back in the old days if your house had ice it was because of the ice truck had made a delivery to your home can you imagine a big block of ice coming to your kitchen wow that would be crazy at least in today's standards. Honey I want some ice he said well hold on I got to go and get the chisel first on my goodness there goes my ice water LOL.
Then came along the freezer, I remember as a child those big deep freezers mom had ours in the garage, it was cool when I was younger but I wouldn't want one of those now the one in our kitchen that was nice. I would open the freezer and get out the silver hard looking tray and when I pop it to get ice they would break up plus ice would explore every where not only that the tray was so freaking cold that it hurt to even hold that ice club tray.
Things had really progress I never thought about it until now, but ice has come a long way, a few years back they made it so you could get ice right from the refrigerator not the freezer wow a ice maker that has ctushed, chips or cubes you choose.
I never wanted one that did that for I heard and from family that they went out alot and you had to call a repairman to fix the refrigerator. So I settled on a plastic ice cube tray and now being 2015 I got to try two silicone ice cube trays made my Kuuk.
Are they not just so pretty I love the bright colored trays! At first when I tried them I thought or no they will be so flimsy, but they were not at. Now when you fill them with water I had to lay the tray across my hand so they the water didn't spill out. I think the thing I liked the best was I was able to get out one or two cubes which was nice instead of the whole tray popping out.
I wanted to show how the silicone trays made the nicest square ice cubes they are so eye appealing oh boy BRB I need a drink LOL. Another great feature about these is the cubes are big and very slow to melt!
The Kuuk silicone ice cube trays are safe to clean in the dishwasher plus they safer than plastic cube tray for they don't have any chemicals for the are BPA free. Unlike the plastic tray the Kuuk ice cube trays will keep their shape so the will always lay flat in the freezer. I just love mine.
The Kuuk will make big nice squared cubes, they will keep their shape and lay flat, they had no chemicals plus you can remove 1 or 2 cubes and place the tray back what is not to like about these buy some today at $13.00 they are cheaper too!
