It wasn't until a few months ago that I learned that I suffer from high blood pressure I was so shocked for most of my life I suffer from low blood pressure. Wow talk about from night till day here, I had gained maybe 20 lbs did that affect it, I guess I will never know.
The last time I went for my check up my doctor asked me did you take your pressure day at home? I looked at him and was like sure I dont have the money to buy a blood pressure monitor, really! In my mind I thought they would cost hundreds of dollars, they looked expensive at the store but that is a big machine.
When I got my MeasurPro BPM-20A I was super excited for not only me but my husband suffer from this too. I opened the box and took the monitor out and read the information about how to use it. I was so simple to set up all I had to do was placed the four batteries inside and select user no.1 and my husband would user no.2.
Always read the manual it may look simple and easy you never know and the manual almost always have information that you need to know or tips to aid you along the way. I did learn that the blood would hold up to 60 uses or two months worth for once you start you should take your readings daily.
My husband is reading more before he takes his blood pressure he is the one that likes to read everything. After he got done we both took our reading and they were both good and both in the blue back ground.
I love this feature the screen will change colors to correlate the readings. Blue means you blood pressure is normal. I love this color coded feature, for I don't have to have my glasses on the read the numbers but reading the numbers in so easy they are nice and larger making it easy for me too read.
I want to stress that the MeasuPro BPM-20A has met and set for all the USA medical guide lines.
When you take your first reading make sure this a good time for you because you need to do this at the same time each day for best performance. Avoid taking if you just had dinner, need to go to the bathroom, just smoked, if your too cold, drinking coffee or talking.
It needs four AA batteries which is included and if you like you can buy a AC adapter to save your money. Cleaning is nice and easy, most of the time a clean cloth can wipe it off and keep away from dusty areas.
I should have looked around for I thought a blood pressure monitor would be so costly but at less than fifty dollars it is well worth it for your health is priceless.
