I grew up on the era that your Mother always wore a apron when she was in the kitchen all the ladies in my life did. I watched my Mother as she cooked meals, she would get messy but she always had her apron to clean her hands with.
I remember also she had different colors of aprons always tried around her waist there was one apron though that never got dirty she never wiped her hands on it for she would use a towel instead. I asked her one day my she did use it and she told me that she didn't want it to get dirt. Now that Iam older I see that was her fancy apron for when we had company.
Over that past year I started thinking I wanted a apron like my Mother wore for I was tired of using towels and sometimes I couldn't find one and had to wipe my hands on my pants yuck what a mess that was.
I went in search for a apron, I actually won a few and got some for free, from mail in offers but each time I received the apron I was disappointed for they were not a apron that I could tie around my waist. I think they call them chef aprons and I don't like them they are long the strap around my neck was too big, they were not the kind of apron my Mother wore.
Enters into my life the Realtree Pink Apron, I was thrilled when I saw the picture of it for it is a apron that I can tie around my waist I was so excited I finally found one and it was going to be mine.
It is made with a polyester blend and cotton plus it is a Realtree licensed pink camo, which I know from owning a Realtree pink camo jacket that this stand for quality. Realtree only makes good quality products using the highest strands plus they manufacturer in the USA.
The Realtree apron is unique for it has a hand towel over the camo material apron so there is double protection. It is like having two layers for wiping or one layer for the bigger messes or if you make such a mess you have the camo material underneath for more wiping of your hands. Let me post a couple of pics so you can see what I mean even better.
As you can see it has dark brown hand towel this was a good color choice for if you wasn't able to get into the washer soon enough it would hurt or show a bunch of stains making it look nicer longer and yes you can wash this in the normal settings of you washer then hang it some where to dry don't place in your dryer.
The pretty side is underneath the dark brown hand towel. You can see the license pink Realtree design it is know for. This apron is not design for large women it is for 25" to 35" waist lines.This was good for me to know when I tried it on I have lost some weight!
The Realtree apron is 17" from the top of the apron to the hem line, 26" side by side and the ties are 20" each. I just love how it feels tied around me. It gives me the confidence to go make a meal and it my hands get messy I hand my towel right at my fingertips. Plus my husband likes it he calls me is Carley homemaker :) A great plus to owning and wearing my apron is I can clean something with my good clothes on and I dont have to worry about getting them dirty.
