They are nice if you like to go camping, if you like to go on a hike thru the woods.
My husband needed some light to see outside and it was so dark out something was wrong with them car engine and it had to be solved right then so I went and got the lantern. It illuminated so bright that he was able to go ahead and fit the problem for he could see everything.
I travel to Canada sereval times a year and the cottage I stay at is back in the woods, it is so dark there when you look out a window all you can see is total blackness. I have never been in such utter darkness you have to had been there to picture in your mind what Iam describing.
This year I will take my lantern with me so I can feel more safe and comfortable for in that utter darkness could be some black bears rooming around in the yard, for I see one when the during the day before so they are there.
The Ultra Bright LED camping lantern or for emergency purposes are just to use when you can find your flashlight and speaking of a flash light I own a few and I would rather place three D batteries in this lantern than a flashlight it is so much brighter.
As you can see thru this pic that it is a compact size it will hardly take up any room in your car to pack away for trips vacations or just to have for saftey purposes. It has 300 lumen's of brightness. The LED lights are guarantee for up to 100,000 hours of use wow that is amazing.
I change to black and white hoping you could see how bright it is better! This is the first setting the second is even brighter and the third is flashing so if you had a emergency this would work great.
It comes with a sturdy rubber bottom that holds it in place and the the plastic mold is very sturdy so with care should should lasts for years. I love my lantern it serves me with so many purposes I hope to have it for a long time and I plan to take very good care of it. I received this lantern for testing purposes and this is my honest and unbiased opinion.
