I love this lantern it is super lightweigt and so easy to use. My family and I love to go camping and long extended fishing trips and this lantern will be perfect for us to use. We also own a cottage in Canada that is way back in the woods that we go to several times a year for vacations. It is so dark there that without a light it really looks black outside.
The light this lantern has is so bright for it has 6 LED = 60LM which means quantity of visible light emitted by a source. This lantern offers several ways to power it and the one I like best is the solar options. It has a solar panel on the top of it so that I can leave it in the sun all day and it will work all night long.
Now if the day ends up raining I can use the USB charing cable and plug in into my car charger and let it charge this way which both of these options cost me nothing Iam lovin this lantern. I can also unscrew the bottom and add 3 AA batteries which could also be seen and used as a back-up just in case it didnt get enough sunlight then I could use and still have the light I need.
The lantern is made with stainless steel so it will not rust which is a great feature so it can be used in the rain, nice since I like to fish in the rain, also making it very durable and long lasting. I love the size it is so small making it easy to pack for it wont take up any room it will even fit in my backpack. It only weighs 0.68 pounds making it easy to carry around.
It is so easy to turn on all I had to do was pull up with the handles and push down to turn it off. They are two handles on the top which makes it easy to carry and makes it nice so I can hang it on a tree or a post. It would also be nice for power outage it would light up most of my house. I love mine it is top quality with great craftsmenship. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.
