I own a set of bento boxes before and they were pretty nice but nothing compared to the quality like these are. They are so much stronger and the size is alot of bigger than my other set. The are made with BPA free materials making them 100% safe to place food inside of plus I really like how the material doesnt have a odor to them that might effect the taste of the food.
The lids are a frosty white color but the tops are clear were the food goes so you can see inside of them. They are quite stylish looking for the way they are uniquely shaped and designed. I really like how good they snap shut locking in freshness and keeping the air out. They hold alot of food for they are 9.9" long and 7.5" wide with a depth of 1.8"
The depth is one of the things I like better too for I can add more food inside each of the three compartment Having three compartment is great for it separate the food for I dont like it when my food runs together. They are nice to have to serve leftovers inside of for my husband lunch the next day and they would be great for cooking up food and placed them inside of for when I dont have time to cook for you could just pull one of them out and place it in the microwave for dinner.
I could also do this with food and place them in the freezer for the kids on nights Iam not home to cook or come home tired. They are safe for the microwave and the freezer. This works good since they can be stacked on top of each other which in turn takes up less space in the refrigerator and freezer oh yeah and the cabinet for when they arent in use.
Some people would use them as disposable but not me I wash them and stack them to be used again since they are strong and strudy since the heat from the microwave doesnt make them lose their shape. They are super easy to clean with soap and water or place them in the dishwasher. They are just so versatile.
I really like that they comes with 10 individual wrapped silverware what a nice bonus for now the meal is complete especially if your using them as disposable items. You would have no mess to clean up or dishes to wash. But of course I wash and reuse them Iam a penny pincher. Included is a knife, fork and spoon and get this there are designed!
They have a nice silver color and are sturdy enought to eat meat with and spread butter or jams evenly. They are nice a thick not flimsy but they wont last forever either but I have already gotten several uses out of each and none of them have bent or broken. This for be nice for someone that you know is ill for you could prepared them ten meals and take them to them so they wouldnt have to cook, they would love you for this.
