My husband kept complaining that he needed to work out that his body strength is getting weaker and this is why his muscles are out of shape and making him gain weight. I have heard this all weather that it is too cold to go work out in the garage so he was just going to have to wait until it gets warmer outside. When I saw this product I jumped at the chance to get them for him for he can use them in the house where it is nice and warm. When they came and I gave them to him he was so excited he told me that this is what the military uses for strength training. He laid them on the floor after he put them together and showed me that the arched bar needs to be in the front so that it will make you have to lift your body higher, I loved his excitement. I watched him do a few and stop for he told me that he would have to build up for it was harder to do than a normal push up due to the arched bar and being higher off the ground. I got down and tried and wow they are hard but I haven't done a push in 20 years. I did like how the bars have padding around them to make it more comfortable so when I push Iam not pushing my hand on metal that wouldn't feel very good. They appear to be nicely made with PVC pipes that were super easy to put together. They will help you build up upper arm strength and I feel like your back and chest will benefit from doing reps using these bars. They are very lightweight and can be took apart making storage easy for them or if you want to take them with you they will fit nicely in your gym bag or backpack. I will stick to my walking and hiking I got these for him and he loves them so Iam super happy about it. I enjoy watching him trying to build up reps for you should always start out slow and build up. I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest opinion.
