I really like my Am/FM radio it is the right size for me to be able to move it around the house with me. I grew up loving radios for that was the only way to get music and the news back then so I was thrilled when I got the chance to get this one for I have looked in so many box stores and was never able to find a Am/Fm radio this size they were all in boom boxes.
I understand that the big deal about this radio is that it is splash proof which it is for the entire white house surrounding the transmitter is Marine Grade IP44 waterproof , which is nice and it does work for I tested it out. But for me was to own a small size radio. I like the size for it is squared 3.5" with a 1.7" depth.
It is very stylish and super easy to operate. There is a easy switch to choice between FM and AM. I really like how it has a big dial feature that is easy to just turn to find the station Iam looking for and the same with the volume which I was very impressed with for it can get much louder than I would have thought it could.
It gives very good reception I found that it works better when it is sitting flat on a surface verses when it is hanging from the attached string from the top.It is well made and it needs to AA batteries to power it with are easy to install. I wanted to for it their is a bad storm or power outage I can use it to keep the news on.
I really like it alot it sounds good and has a stylish appearance. The Antenna must be built in for you can see it which is better so it cant be broken. This just what I wanted and needed, I really like how many stations that come in clearly will be great to take on vacation with me this summer. I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion
