I wanted this for my daughter who loves to straightener her hair and her hair is kinda thin to medium but its not long it comes a little past her shoulders. I thought that this size would work very well for her plus being only 8" in length tis flat iron that it would be easy for her to take with her to her friends house for when she spends the weekend sometimes.
We were both so impressed as I unboxed it to give to her for it was grand. It comes in a nice box and when you open it we would a nice travel bag inside that has a material hook to carry it with or to hang it up in a room for convenience, When I unzipped the bag it was like wow for it has a sliver foil like lining that she was flipping over.
There is also five longer very well made hair clips wow what a excellent thing to add to this bundle for this really come in handle to separate your hair into parts to make ironing you hair so much easier and it will be faster now too. The bag itself it very well made stitched to last and the zipper was easy to open and close securely in place.
The iron has a switch inside between the two parts to turn it off and on at first she was afraid to trun it off she was going to just unplug it but the iron part is far enough away so it was easy to do and not get burnt. She really likes the swivel cord for you can lock it in place and it moves with her giving her a free hand and the cord is long enough so she can move around the room.
It gets very hot less than five minutes and it was hot enough for her to do her hair. She can do her hair in less than ten minutes or a couple for a touch up. This will be nice for when she is getting ready for school for she feels like she is always in a rush to get ready.
It is so easy for her to use and Iam so happy that she loves it so much. It has a modern sleek look to it and a lovely burgundy color that shines and shouts style.
