Oh my this has to be the best flying pan I ever used and that I now own. First of all I love the size of the pan it is 12" diameter across the top and 10" across the bottom and is over 2" deep. I love how it is deeper than the other frying pans that I own for this way I can use it to cook meats with sauces in this pan and when I stir the sauce wont be going over the side on the stove and making a mess.
This is also the first flying pan I ever owned that is ceramic which really does hold the heat longer. Alot of first here for I have never own a pan that has GREBLON ceramic from Germany which means that it has no harmful chemical that will be release from the non stick surface that this frying pan has.
I really love the texture of the surface for it really allows for thoroughly even cooked food for I now just might fry myself a thick steak, for before I wouldn't because they never cooked right. I tried using the pan the other night with burgers and I was able to cook them as everyone like some a nice medium rare and mine well done.
I love how easy it was to flip them for they lifted right off the surface of the pan, there was no tug of war going on with me and the meat. I love the handle wow it is so nice for it has a silicone padding that make it easy for me to get a good hold of the pan and feel confident that I was going to drop it while I was draining the grease that was left from the burgers. It even has a place that is indented for my thumb to fit inside of. for a firmer grip to hold on to it better.
Inside the pan it has these groves which is a elevated texture( the honeycomb surface) that creates air pockets that allow the air to go underneath the food to get that even all around heat to cook the meat better in fact it seemed like the burgers even cooked faster saving me time and money on electricity for I could turn the burner off sooner.
This pan is very well made for it is made with heavy-gauge die-cast aluminum which with proper care will last for many years to come This has to be where it gets it weight from for this pan is not lightweight but it not too heavy to work with either. I like the green color for to me that represents how ECO friendly this pan is for it doesn't submit chemicals into the air from the non stick surface it has.
It was so easy to clean I just used some soap and water and the left over grease just wiped right off plus it didn't have a greasy feel like my old pans would for no matter what brand of dish soap or how hot the water was most of the time they would have a slight greasy shine and I just hated that for it didn't feel clean to me.
All the ingredients used to made this wonderful flying pan came from Germany for it is the real deal it may have been assembled in China.
This is a pan that every cook needs to have in her kitchen, I would love to own a couple more of these and was thinking that they would be excellent gifts at Christmas this year. This is the best non stick pan I ever used and owned for it of superior high quality. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.
