What a very well made and versatile shovel to have for when I go camping or hiking or if I wanted too I could even use it in my yard. I like how it comes folded up in a nice green cameo zipper bag that has a loop on the side and the back so that it be be attached to a belt buckle or a back pack. The color blends in perfect for the outdoors.
This is a neat survival shovel to have with me when my husband and I are hiking thru the woods which we do alot in Canada in the summers. The shovel is very well made. It is made with a high carbon steel making it is very strong, solid and durable. I like how it comes in two different pieces one of which is two in one that bends and the other screws into the the other.
I was able to dig a hole, cut some vines, and open a pop bottle with this shovel. It has a compass on the bottom of the handle that I haven't used yet, but I do know the importance of it just in case we got lost in the mountains. The shovel also has a pick axe which is nice for when we go camping to help with putting up our tent.
The shovel extends out to 2.56" x 5.12" x 7.48" and when folded back it is 4.33" x 6.70" fitting nicely inside the pouch that doesn't take up much space if I wanted to place it inside my backpack inside of a belt loop. I really like how it pretty lightweight. It is ideal for survival in the outdoors for it suits all my needs in one tool.
Ideal tool for hunters, campers, and hikers like me. People who are into survival gear this is a must have and would be a nice gift for them. It is so easy to use, why I thought if it came down too it, I could use it to defend myself. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion
