I buy alot of fruit and vegetables for my family and with summer just around the corner I will be buying even more with all the different varieties of fresh fruit and vegetables that will be available not only that I have a garden and will be filling my drawers with my many items from it.
I was thrilled with the chance to get to try the the drawer liners that are to place inside to extend the life of my fruit and vegetables. Each liner is a nice green color and are 12" x 15" in size which were to easy to place on the bottom of each drawer.
They feel strong and are made of foam that absorbs excess moisture so that my food will not spoil which in turn causes it to last longer. I know there were so many times that would open a drawer to get a apple only to throw it away.
I also like that now my softer fruits have a cushion to lay on. They
look nice and will make cleaning the drawer easier since I can pull out the liner and finish it off with warm soapy water. There is four well made liners and I only have three drawers so I will always have a spare one.
I like that I could cut them smaller if I needed too but mine fit just right in the drawer and came up a inch on the sides. The foam is designed to allow air to flow better through it so that the fruit and vegetable won't spoil as fast.
I think too that with the air circulation will also help the food to taste better since it will be fresher.
I lined all my drawers even the ones that don't have any fruit in them for I was thinking it would also help with the cold cuts to last longer since that comes sliced from the deli they tend to not last as long and should help them keep they taste to be fresher.
I think they look nice when you open a drawer and the food is sitting on top of the liner. I like the added color it bring to the white making everything look more cheerful. The thing that I have noticed the most is that my food does taste better for the air circulating keeping it fresh is keeping the taste in tacked.
It has been so nice to place a apple inside my drawer and when I open it to get it out to eat, it doesn't have bruises or brown or black spoilage spots on them. I love that Iam going to save money by not throwing out so much food which will cause me to buy more now.
