Iam going on vacation soon actually several times this year and I needed a bathing suit. I didn't want a bikini for I just dont have the body for it anymore. I wanted a one peice that was pretty but something that was of a retro style and this one is it.
I love the baby blue color that is very pretty which looks good with my fair skin tone and my blonde hair plus it matches my eyes. I love how soft and smooth the material feels and looks for it has a sleek shine to it.
The bathing suit is made with 80% polyamid and 20% spandex material blend. It has a vintage style that is pin up monokinis something you might have seen one of the ladies by the pool wearing in one of I Love Lucy TV shows when her and Ricky were in Hollywood.
This bathing suit is very well made with quality stitching with straight and even inseams all along each side of the suit. I couldnt find any loose threads that would cause the material to fray apart. We can say it has adjustable straps for you tie them around your neck to hold in place. It has a strap on each side of the breast to pull up and tie with.
I love how all along both sides the material is gather making tiny pleats along the way making it look more acctractive. The material across the breast is also pleated and layered for a lovely appearance making the suit look very feminie.
The breast have padded cups for a full support that has a little thickness to add a fullness to my breast and to make them more comfortable and a little bigger. There is a strap along the back for it is a open back suit, with tab to side the strap in and out of to connect it into place.
The bathing suit has a nice white lining inside which is very soft against my skin. I order a 2X but after trying it on I most likey should had order a size down. I was going by the measuring chart when I decided which size to order.
The measurements for the 1X were better for my breast but they were right on the line for my wasit and hips so I thought I should go up a size for a more comfortable fit for my measurements as of now are 40" 38" 45" . So when you look you can see why I was pulled.
It will be fine though I have always had a issue trying to get the breast and hips to match for I have a big butt that has always been a pain when it comes to sizing my clothes. I love how soft and cool the material feels against my skin for it feels so nice.
I havent had a need to wash it yet but I would wash in the washing machine on a gentle cyle in cold water with no bleach of course and let it line dry. I just love the color its prettier in person than that of the product page.
It is very well made and with proper care it should last me for many years to come. Now Iam so excited to get a pool and try it out. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.
