I love head bands but the ones that I used before these were always so tight on my head so much so it would sometimes give me a headache so I would end up taking it off. I have always liked wearing headbands since I was a young child.
I have always kept my hair cut with bangs and when Iam very active I sweat and then my bangs bug me so I would use a headband to pull them off my forehead. I also keep my bangs very long so I liked to bunch them up with a headband.
I was so excited when these adorable headbands arrived at my home. When I took them out of the nice package they came in I was in love with them. They remind me of growing up in the seventies when all the "flower child hippie" look was the rage.
Inside the package was 14 different flower colored head bands that are very well made.There is a 10" braided leather band with is decorate with very strong paper flowers. Now when I learned that the flowers were made of paper I was very impressed with the strength and texture of them.
The braided leather has soft green leaves weaved through it adding to its appeal. The rest of the headband is elastic which is 8.8" long. I love how stretchy the elastic band is it makes it easy to pull over top my head and I like how it snaps back into shape without a tight squeezing feeling on my head making them very comfortable to wear all day long.
The flowers are rich in color for there is a wide assortment of colors to choose from one to match every outfit that I own. From blue to red, to yellow to green they have me covered. They look so cute making me feel prettier while wearing them. You could layer them up for a thicker flower band look or even wrap them around you forehead like a flower child.
They are alot of fun to to show o my friends and my kids love them too. They would be good for a dressy occasion or just to hang out with yours friends. They look good with a dress or a pair of jeans. I was very impressed with the quality of them making them very durable.
The best part is that they are very comfortable to wear all day and they don't squeeze on my head giving me a headache. I think that if I ever need to clean them I would just wipe them off with a damp cloth for the flowers are delicate but the band is very strong.
