Iam one of the few people that I know that still washes and dries their dishes by hand. The towels I was using before I received my new cotton ones just didn't work good. The material was not good at drying and left alot of lint behind.
I didn't like the lint but having too go over the same plates several times to get it dry was frustrating and time consumer the towel just didn't absorb the water. This is the best thing for me is these new cotton towels quickly absorbs the water off the dish making it dry faster most of the times one swipe of the towels does the job.
The Permia dish towels are 100% pure natural cotton making them very soft and gentle on my skin and when drying glass. Its leaves a very nice shine on them and works great at drying off my stainless steel sink leaving it spotless and shiny.
Another thing that makes them so absorbent is the herringbone weave that these towels are made with plus this makes them very strong for you can pull and tug on a towel and it keeps it shape and doesn't want to rip or tear making them very durable.
The towels comes in a set of six, each one are of a white color that has pretty colored striped weaved down the middle of the towel. They also are trimmed all along each side to help make them stronger making them to last for many years to comes.
They are of a very good size for each towel is 14" x 25" allowing me enough material to dry alot of dishes or small appliances. When I first saw the towels my first thoughts were of seeing my Mother using them and later on myself for they have a vintage look and appeal about them.
I have used them for other things than just drying dishes like I used them to help dry my long hair quicker which they do. They are great to cover food to hold the heat inside of them. They are good for cleaning or dusting.
I love that I can wash them in the washer and place in my dryer and they don't shrink and they really keep their shape nicely. They would make the ideal for couple just starting out for the are reasonably priced at $9.99.
This is my second set of them for I love using them so much that I thought if I got these then I could share a couple with a friend who still wash dish my hand like I do. I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.
