Fractionated is a carrier oil and base, like it you wanted to make a face mask and you had all the powder ingredients then you would need this fractionated oil to be the one that brings them together to make your facial mask work, to make it whole.

I used this alot on the hands for it does wonders with dry skin and my hands get dry and stay that way something that has gotten worse as I age so Iam always looking for a inexpensive way to take care of them.
