My husband and I love to go hiking and the back pack that he is using is terrible it is ripping and it doesnt hold hardly anything. I told him that he needed a new one and when I saw this one I was so excited for this would be perfect for him to use infact I might use it just kidding I wouldnt do that to him.
This size is perfect for a day adventure but it not big enough to store for a weekend camping trip it has 30L capacity with many different compartments to store items. The material is thick and good quailty it feels like a thick canvas material which I like for it is easy to keep clean a damp cloth will wipe away any dirt that got on it.
It has two strap that are nicely padded and are adjustable. There is padding for where it would lay against your back for added comfort it feels good it has a velcro strap so it you want to place something thin inside like papers passport or drivers license this would be a good place to store them. I like the cameo design it blends in nicely in the woods. I mention a passport for we travel outside of the USA and hke.
I like how it has four front zipper compartments and each one is smaller than the next they are not very wide but big enough the two in the front back for small towels a extra shirt or two but inside of each one of these is a mesh pocket( the second one is smaller than the first one) so if you have something damp you can place it inside and the mesh will keep it from getting on the other items inside. You can placea pair of shorts and socks for I also need extras of these items.
The two smallest compartments in the front would be good for your wallet, keys, some snack's, there is a place on the side where you could hook your keys or a water bottle . I like how the front compartment has a small pocket for this is where I would pack our protein bars we like to take hiking with us.
The backpack is very well made and it has great stitching, I looked mine over and didnt see any loose threads that might fray apart. All the zippers work very good and they dont get caught on the material. I like how it has straps so that everything and be clasped togher for a tight fit. My husband really likes it alot so this makes me happpy for I feel it is a very good back pack for hiking, it looks a nice quality appearnace too it.
