I lived with a house full of singers and people that love music so we all had alot of fun playing around with the electronic microphones. It was so easy to put it all together, first of all you will need a tiny philips screw driver to open the case to place the three AA batteries that are not included. Then there is the stand that sits in a hole that is at the top of the base.
The base unit is where the music comes from with a on and off switch. The included music that it comes with is the only problem I have with this product for it is geared towards very young children like 3 or 4 year olds, maybe 5, for they sound like nursey rhyme songs. The only one I recognized by name is of them is twinkle twinkle little star.
There is a switch for applause with I think is pretty awesome the music switch and on the side is the volume. The stand comes in three parts that bascially fit easily together. On the end of each arm is a place that holds on to the mircophones which is the being selling point to me to this product. I was happy too with how loud the volume is very impressive.
After I placed the cables to the mircophones to the base I turn it on and was it is nice how much sound they actually pick up for I had the sound on the lowest setting and could heard the the moving around sounds of the mic placement that the kids where do. What they did was get out their smart phone and play music from their music library.
The microphones work so good it was alot of fun watching them sing and dance around why my husband and I had to play along ourselves. The sound they produced is great your voice sounds very clear and understand. I really like how much sound and how loud they sound is. I really like the clue color of the stand and how the base lights up when it is on.
To change songs just hold the button down and it will change to a new tune. We all like it very much I can see young children playing with this for hours on end. You might want to get a set of ear plugs :)). It all is very well made and good quailty so with proper care it should last for years of fun. It is good exercise your your childs mind and it promotes physical movement which is a huge plus! I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.
