It seems as I get older I want to get into better shape and work more. I guess Iam more aware than when I was younger the importance taking care of myslef. I started walking last fall and worked up to at least five miles six days a week and then winter came along and I slacked.
I have to say I was very mad at myslef for it was hard climbing hills in the heat. Not only did my legs muscles get very strong I lost over 10 pounds. I just didn't have anything in the home when it got really cold out to work out with since I dont own a gym membership.
This is one of the biggest reason I wanted to try out the Y pull up band so I could have something new to work out my muscles with and have fun doing it. The band itself is of a purple color which is cool and it is 82 inches long with a 1 inch width and a 1/8" thickness according to my measuring tape that I used.
The band is very durable and very strong it is made with natural latex that really stretches good. It has a tensile stress of 20 to 60 pounds with a resistance level of 50 to 125 pounds. The first time I tried to pull it I was Wowed with it strength.
It is great for working on my leg muscles I can place it on the bottom of my foot and pull back or I can place it on the bottom of my foot and stand up and pull upward with my arms. I have tried to use it pulling outward with my arms just kinda hard for me since Iam short with short arms.
Iam sure there are other ways I can use the pull up band just still working on learning new ideas. Since right now I
like the couple I do makes me content. I really like that since it is latex it doesnt have a bad odor.
The Y SportLive band comes in four different color each one has a weaker or stronger resistance, starting at 10 pounds working up to 125 pounds. They would be idea for someone that needs help with physical therapy or to use at the gym. This is a very strong durable product that strong out last me with a great abilty to stretch as far as I can pull it. My husband enjoys using it and of course pull harder with it than I but it gives me a goal to work up too. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.
