I have always wanted to try a hair straighter the biggest reason being that it is a brush. This idea was very appealing to me for I love to brush my hair. I own several flat irons but they make my dry hair, more dry and cause alot of damage even though I use products to product my hair against the heat, it still happened.
I also love to try new products to see how they work and how good they work for me. One of the first things that I notice was that it's not real heavy which I really liked since it won't tire out my arm and allow me to be more comfortable when using it.
I read all the instructions before I used the hair straighter to make sure that I used it right and to learn of any tips. I made sure that my hair was clean and dry before using which is what the company recommends which only makes sense.
I was delighted with how quickly it heated up. It has a LED light on the top making it easy to see what the temperature setting was for I didn't need a high setting for I have thin hair there are 11 different setting to choose from. I straighten my hair for it tends to be frizzy.
The tips of the bristles are are coated with a nice silicone that kept my head from feeling burnt and they made it more comfortable as I stoked it along my head though my hair. Its like brushing your hair which stimulates your scalp which will help you hair grow faster.
I used the hair straighter just like I would as if I was brushing my hair again I want to say that I have very thin hair so it was very easy for me to use. To get the best results though I would use small amounts of hair at a time.
I love how long the cord is and that it a 360 degree swivel cord making it easier to turn and also to use and be able to move around the room or to do something else at the same time. like talk on my cell phone.
It not only heats up fast it cools down quickly. It is very well made for it is made with ceramic which is very durable and stands up to heat. I like the color and the high gloss shine it has making it very attractive.
Its great to use for a quick touch up making it really nice for when Iam running short on time. My daughters really like using it too. We have found that it takes us all a little longer than the other due to our different hair thickness and texture.
It takes me about 15 minutes to do my hair which comes down past my shoulders and each of them about 20 to 23 minutes each that is for the full treatment not a touch up. It is very easy to keep clean for I just wipe it off with a damp cloth.
The best part is that it isn't drying my hair out like my old flat iron did plus I use less of my spray before use which will save me money. Since Iam brushing my hair it doesn't get tangled up around it like it would with the flat iron why I was always getting my hair twisted up and that can hurt.
