I know that the summer is over and thinking about buying a hose was still a must need for my home for about two weeks ago both of my rubber based hose's broke. Both of them what are the odds of this happening.
I still had vegetables growing in my garden and flowers in pots decorated on the deck and front porch. Not only this its that time of year that I love to buy Mums to decorate for fall since they strive in colder weather.
My new expandable hose couldn't get to my house fast enough for it took almost a hour watering everything with a water pot. The first thing that I noticed when I opened the box was that it had everything I would need to go ahead and use it.
Why it comes with a eight function spray nozzle that has the adapter too. There was also a wall mount that was so easy to install to hold the hose for storage and for a nicer appearance. The hose itself has a 3/4" double latex core, that has a double water resistant nylon shell.
The nylon is very eye appealing with the two colors of blue and green and it is very soft and smooth feeling. I was amazed by how lightweight the hose is. Both ends of the hose has solid copper fittings that should last for a long time.
In fact the weight comes for the fittings and the nozzle, this I noticed as I dragged it around the yard. It is the first time I ever used a expandale hose and when I took it out if the box I told my husband that they sent me the wrong size for it is to be 50 ft! He just laughed and told me to turn the water on, which I did and as it filled up the hose I watched my husband stretch it across the driveway.
One neat feature is the the nozzle has a solid clip that goes over the handle so that when you are draining the hose of the excess water it will keep the water dripping. I think this is why my one of my old hoses broke for it has water build up inside of it now I don't have to worry about this happening again.
The nozzle is very nice is has eight different sprays to choose from which is nice for watering flowers I want a more gentle spray but for cleaning the driveway I want a powerful straight line of water.
A huge plus is that the hose doesn't kink or twist up as I drag it from the front yard to the back like my old hose would do and I would have to stop and fix it back but so far this has not been a issue for me. It is so easy to pull and drag around since it only weighs 2lb's.
Iam very happy with my expandable hose and thinking next spring that I might buy the 100 ft hose. I notice that they other four different sizes to be able to match it with everyone needs. It is very well priced considering that you get the nozzle for sometimes the nozzle can be most costly than the hose that is if you want a good one. I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.
